A group of Furness Railway signal lever plates from Plumpton Junction box between Grange Over Sands and Ulverston. a) 58, DOWN LAKESIDE HOME, b) 26, SHUNT BACK DOWN PRIORY TO NO 1 OR 2 SIDING, each 6¾", c) 11, TRAIN PROTECTION BAR ON UP MAIN, 4¼". Each engraved brass with brackets to the rear. Plumpton was the junction for Windermere Lakeside and the Conishead Priory branch, the latter closing in 1916 though a short section to Bardsea Works was retained until 1994.
