DSO GV, QSA with bars Bel/MR/Drei/Jo/DH/Bel named (816 Serjt J Miller Cldstm Gds), KSA with bars SA01/SA02 named (816 Serjt J Miller Cldstm Gds), 1915 Star (Capt J S Miller MGC), BWM & Victory + MID (Major J S Miller), Defence Medal and EDVII Army LSGC Medal (816 C.Sjt J Miller Cldstm Gds). Medal Rolls appear to show that he was not entitled to the 1915 Star and it appears to be a good tailors copy. Mentioned In Despatches 4/1/1917 and 24/12/1917. DSO L/G 1/1/1917. Born Russia 1879, died 1951 at The Palace Hotel, Lancaster Gate, London. Son Jack Sydney Miller DSC was KIA 8/2/1942 HMS Penelope, Buried Malta. With matching set of miniature medals. Medal card shows he ended up as a Lt Col with the R. Fus.
