Irish Kerry Militia Victorian glengarry badge circa 1874-81. Good scarce lightly die-stamped white metal crowned strap KERRY REGIMENT resting on a shamrock sprays; Maid of Erin Harp to voided centre. Loops. Two fixing points of Harp strengthened otherwise VGC. Raised 1793 at Tralee, became 4th Bn. Royal Munster Fusiliers on Friday 1st July, 1881. Gordon Cummings Collection.
