A 6 shot .36" Colt Model 1851 Navy percussion revolver, number 26143 (1855) on all parts except the cylinder which is numbered 8928, the barrel with London address and London proofs, with silver plated iron trigger guard and backstrap. GWO & C, retaining traces of colour hardened finish, the cylinder scene a bit faint (small patches of rust on trigger guard and backstrap), in its red velvet lined fitted mahogany case, containing the original cylinder, number 26143, which has one chamber blown out and has split into two halves, a good bag shaped copper flask by Dixon, of correct Colt type but is not marked, steel double cavity bullet mould (pitted), nipple key, tin of caps, and some lead bullets, together with a key to the case. GC (the case relined and with some marks to the lid). £1200-1400
