A French late-Victorian carriage clock the eight-day duration movement having a later platform lever escapement and striking the hours and half-hours on a gong with a push button repeat to sound the last hour at will, the ivorine chapter ring having black Roman numerals and decorative blued steel hands, with an engraved filigree mask, the Corniche case with moulded corners and base, and with a fluted handle, height 18cm/15cm handle up/down.
