The turquoise-ground brush-pot decorated with flowers and waves on a fret pattern ground, 12.5cm high, a turquoise-ground domed cylindrical box and cover decorated with butterflies and flowering branches 9cm diam., another cylindrical example decorated with birds, butterflies and flowers and a rectangular white-ground hinged box and cover, decorated with prunus on a scroll pattern ground 9cm wide (4)
Provenance: Property of a Sussex gentleman
Condition: The circular domed box and cover - with a chip to the enamel to the interior of the bowl, with a dent to the side of the box, the underside of the cover with a small chip and associated cracking. The cylindrical box and cover with some slight losses, chipping and wear. The white ground rectangular box and hinged cover - minor wear. Some wear to enamels and minor losses overall.
