Railway. B.R. Steam. A good collection of approx. 80 larger size black and white prints. Most of the prints are 8.5" x 6.5", and include approx. 20 OFFICIAL B.R. publicity photographs from the London Midland Region, including some from the "Midland Railway". These prints have the official stamps and/or paper labels on the reverse of the prints. The remainder of the photographs include some from the NRM archive and other darkroom prints. There are several shots of an RCTS "East Midlander" railtour in 1955 plus itineray booklets issued on the trip, as well as photos of Midland Railway locomotives, locomotives around Nottinghamshire, plus a few ex GWR locos. Approx. half of the photos have captions, although some just have locations or official stamps. Copyright is not on offer. Sample illustrated.
