H.G.Rowland, RL WT Surrey Regt, with four clasps for Tugela Heights, Relief of Ladysmith, Transvaal, Orange Free State, together with a 'Mafeking Penny', a WW1 British War Medal, awarded to 148314 2-cpl H.G.Rowland R.E, and a Royal Engineers cap badge, all contained within a Victorian South Africa 1900 Christmas Tin.
Note; other medals awarded to HG Rowland had been previously distributed to other family members and are now no longer available.
