A Grand Tour patinated bronze figure modelled as 'Arrotino' [The Blade-Sharpener, also known as The Scythian'], 19th century Italian after the antique, set to a yellow Sienna marble and patinated bronze plinth, 15cm high (at fault)
The piece shows age-related wear to the patinated finish throughout. The marble plinth shows a loss to the front right and back left corners, with further nibbles to the corners and edges. The sharpening stone is slightly loose.
