32 inch, 18 bore, two groove, rifled, browned Damascus octagonal barrel with lower rib. Front blade sight and rear, triple lift up V sight. Top flat marked 'Charles Lancaster. 151 New Bond St. London". Breech hook in tang with floral scroll engraving. Lock plate with fine floral scroll engraving with maker " C Lancaster London" in a double scroll. Sliding hammer safety. Percussion hammer with scroll engraving (good, old repair to spur). Finely figured, polished, half stock woodwork with checkered pistol grip and forend. Butt inlaid with circular patchbox with edge floral scroll and central lion. Checkered steel butt plate. The long tang with hunting engraving. Blued steel pistol grip cap. Blued steel trigger guard with hunting engraving and serial number "1728". Contained in its fitted oak case with reinforced brass corners and central, top carrying handle. The interior with steel pincer mould to cast belted, conical bullets. Arms marked "Improved No 13" and serial number "1728". Lid interior with paper "Chas Lancaster Gun Manufacturer" label.
