Five matching antique green glass chemist's jars with stoppers and ribbed decoration, named in black lettering on red, white and gilt backing to include 'Hydrarg: Ammoniat:', 'Hydrarg: Perchlor:', 'Iodoform', 'Tinot: Cantharid' and another, all marked 'Poison' in red to the lower end of the jars, approximately 23cm high. (5)
The stoppers are odd, not all are matching. Two are affixed and can't get off. There is a piece of label lacking to one. There is a crack to another. There is fading to the lettering and further marks/staining to the gilding. There are further cracks to two labels. There are all over age-related scratches, marks and stains to the bottles and the stoppers.
