£75
An early 20th century plaster bust, depicting Goddess Clytie, 33cm high
The low relief areas of the bust appear to be clogged with some form of grey residue. The surface of the piece shows numerous scratches, suggesting that the bust was either originally or later coated in a finish (possibly a marble effect?) which has been subsequently scrubbed off. There is a hairline crack running down the right shoulder and across the chest. There is a loss to the surface of the foot approximately 6cm long and 2cm wide.
