A LARGE ROYAL DOULTON 'THE DRAKE JUG', Jug No. 409 of a limited edition of 500 Circa 1933, one side depicting Queen Elizabeth I and the 'Golden Hind' ship, the other side playing bowls at Plymouth Hoe, a twisted rope and anchor handle with a lantern hanging from it, the spout has the inscription 'Take my drum to England and hang it by the shore, strike it when your powders runnin low', (full inscription on the base), impressed signatures of Noke and Fenton (1) (Condition Report: crazing, a small hairline crack visible inside, a small hairline crack just above the handle)
