A fine and extremely large 19th century style later Anglo-Indian hardwood trunk; the hinged top with cleated ends and front and ornate internal brass strap hinges, with thumbnail-moulded edge above a pierced heart-shaped brass escutcheon flanked by four sunflower-head style brass roundels in relief, with two side carrying handles and raised upon two separate supports with bulbous turned front legs (182cm wide x 76.5cm deep x 93cm high)
