Carbine - a Zulu War converted Martini Henry Carbine, lock marked Crown 'VR' above 'Enfield 1876' (3 years before Rorke's Drift). Round barrel 21", calibre .577. Barrel has been pinned at the breech and the floor of the action has been cut and barrel blocked. All unnecessary as it is an Obsolete Calibre piece. Action in GWO, W/D marked and Volunteer Artillery marks to butt marker disc. With ramrod. No Licence required
