A Wedgwood Celtic lustre bowl designed by Daisy Makeig-Jones, early 20th century, the exterior decorated with black Celtic motifs against a yellow ground, the interior with black and gilt Celtic motifs against a white lustre ground, printed maker's mark and painted design number "Z.5255" to base, 14cm diameter
The exterior shows some small scratches to the yellow ground and black motifs. The interior shows some fine surface scratching and rubbing to the gilt highlights of the motifs and the rim. The bowl rings when pinged, and shows no obvious chips, cracks or losses.
