An early 20th century carved oak coffer the panelled top with C.E.L. to central cartouche and foliate border, over foliate carved sides and front with 'LAETUS SORTE MEA' (Happy in my lot) to top rail, raised on stile feet. 45¾ x 22in. (116.2 x 55.8cm.), 27½in. (69.8cm.) high.
