North African/Middle Eastern Jezail Percussion Cap Camel Gun with heavy octagonal barrel 820mm in length. Rifled Bore approx. 11mm. Working action which will hold at both full and half cock. Engraved decoration to the lock. No makers marks or serial number. Overall length 120cm. Decorated barrel band in brass and nickle silver and steel. Complete with ramrod which has a well decorated nickle silver mount. The gun is complete with it's original thin leather sling which has period repairs. NOTE: Section 58 (2) No licence required in the UK.
Action holds but does slip occasionally. Overall very good original condition.
