Early 19th century English School (circa 1805), Portrait Miniature of John Bathhurst Deane (1797-1887), as a young boy wearing a brown coat and frilled white chemise, watercolour on ivory, oval, 7.5cm x 6cm, in gold oval frame (tests as 9ct), the reverse with gold mounted blue glass border surrounding locks of brown hair and gold wire on mother-of-pearl.
