MIDLAND & GREAT NORTHERN JOINT RAILWAY: 1898 commercially used cover with 2d green M&GNJR letter stamp partly folded over flap. Probably put on train at Terrington or Clenchwarton, Norfolk. On arrival at Lynn it was reposted and cancelled with the squared circle "KINGS LYNN/30 MR/AM", arrived Southport same day at 7:45PM. Addressee not there, so it was readdressed and posted at 4:30 PM to Buxton, Derbyshire where it arrived the next morning. One of the more difficult railway companies to find on cover.
