An antique gilded bronze Shakyamuni Buddha believed to be pre 19thC seated in padmasana, his hands in Dhyana mudra with chest adorned with a swastika emblem, his eyes downcast with a meditative facial expression. 19cm h. Provenance: Purchased in India by the vendor's uncle between 1947-1963.
Crack to lower front. Wear to gilt.
