A Belgian 6 shot 12mm Lefaucheux gold and silver overlaid closed frame double action pinfire revolver, c 1865, round barrel 120mm (4¾”), with raised top rib numbered 3054 on left side, the breech marked “E LEFAUCHEUX INVR BREVETE”, and gold overlaid on the top rib “E.PARIS A BUENOS-AYRES”; Liege proved; the barrel and frame overlaid with gold and silver scrolls and foliage, similar overlay on the cylinder also inhabited by birds of paradise; with ejector rod on the right, plain ivory grips, and lanyard rings.
