Webster of London. A George III ebonised eight day bracket clock in plain arched case, the signed painted Roman dial with strike / silent selector, signed twin fusee movement with anchor escapement striking upon a bell, with associated bracket, 28cm wide, 20cm deep, 39cm high
Looks to be in honest untouched condition, very slight rubbing to the extremities of the case, a number of cracks running across the top of the arch, some oxidisation to the brass mounts and fee slightly pushed downwards, working key for front and back door locks, dial looks original if a little dirty and rubbed, movement looks complete but not tested for timekeeping, comes with a brass pendulum, two associated winding keys, bracket looks to be a Victorian addition and is of a slightly reddish black tone, 40cm wide, 28cm deep, 24cm high, with minor dents and nicks scattered throughout.
