A French Louis XVI style kingwood, crossbanded and inlaid commode, circa 1900, of bombe form, with marble top and ormolu mounts fitted two drawers and raised on cabriole legs, height 93cm, width 121cm, depth 52cm.
The cracks on the marble go through to the other side but do not join leaving the marble in one single piece, the cracks appear to have been filled. Some areas of veneers lifting/bubbling slightly but are still present.
