UNIQUE(?) REGISTERED COMMERCIAL "PAQUEBOT." (EKD) COVER TO G.B. WITH 21x2c FRANKING; Remarkable large commercial env. (printed "Island Trading Syndicate Ltd." address; some overall wear) registered to GB "VIA SINGAPORE" with 2c Green franking (Block of 5 + 4 Blocks of 4 + 2 Pairs; some stamps with creasing/minor faults) all tied/cancelled by mainly fine "KUCHING" cds's (26 Nov.) but also with fine 29 Nov. cds alongside next to a superb early strike of the purple boxed Kuching "PAQUEBOT." (Hosking 3187; only recorded from 1915) as well as a fine purple boxed "R/SARAWAK/No....." mark. It seems that the ship carrying this letter to Singapore put back in to Kuching where the letter was treated as a Paquebot before being sent off again!Cross Reference: PAQUEBOTS, REGISTERED MAIL
