An Antique 18ct gold opal and diamond half hoop ring, set with oval cabochon opal flanked by a trio of old-cut diamonds, total diamond content approx 0.5ct, opal measures approx: 8.34 x 4.94 x 2.43mm, unmarked mount tests as 18ct gold, setting height 9.3mm, size R, 3.4g
All stones present, opal has a subdued play of colour with mostly reds and greens, 1 shoulder diamond has been replaced, most have small girdle chips but are still relatively bright and lively, general wear to settings with a small join section on back of shank, unmarked but tests as 18ct
