19th Century baluster shaped pink lustre decorated loop handled jar with unusual threaded cover, marked 'Sarah Howen, Her Bottle, 1816'. Probably Welsh. 11.5cm high approx.

The body of the vessel is good overall. Minor wear and glaze blemishes in places. The screw cover is badly chipped around its edge and to part of its thread.
