A multi-signed 1946 edition hardback with protective book jacket cover of 'Detour: The Story Of Oflag IVC' a firsthand account of life inside the notorious Colditz Castle POW camp during World War II. Written by J.E.R. Wood and illustrated by J.F. Watton, this book captures the trials, ingenuity, and resilience of Allied prisoners in one of the most heavily guarded camps.

What makes this copy particularly special is its collection of signatures from nine distinguished former POWs, including Claude Tine, John Davies (Youngest at Colditz at one time), Kenneth Lockwood, Michael Alexander (Prominentee), Pat Fergusson, Tommy Catlow, Joseph Tucki (Polish Officer), Alex Ross (Douglas Bader Batman while in Colditz), and Bill Goldfinch (worked on the Colditz Glider).
