A large Exhibition Quality Coalport vase and cover, circa 1855-60 of baluster form with a domed cover, the spiral fluted neck flanked by foliate handles with satyr mask terminals, the Sardinian green ground painted with a large oval Italianate landscape of figures reeling in nets with a bridge and mountains beyond, opposed by a further panel of flowers and fruit by William Cook, on a square base, CBD mark in gilt, 54cm high (restored) Provenance: Ivor Southorn Collection.
