Henry Pemberton - A View of Sir Isaac Newton’s Philosophy, printed London by S Palmer, 1728, quatro (4to), First Edition, complete with all 12 folding engraved plates, as called for, with numerous engraved ornaments by Pine throughout, subscribers list presenting within the preliminary pages Bound in speckled full calf leather, fived raised bands, with label to the spine. Some fragility to the front board, light cracking to the leather front hinge with some chipping to head and foot of spine, the binding remains solid and secure and well preserved. Internally the pages and folding plates are exceptionally clean, some moderate toning and minor wear only, previous owners’ inscription to ffep dated 1768.
