Goode, from Birmingham served with the 6th Battalion of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment, his war ended as a result of shell shock, he was entitled to a wound badge after 1 year and four months with the field force. A War Medal named to 104911 Pte A.Pepperell R.A.M.C. who died at sea on the 4th May 1917, he is commemorated on the Savona Memorial in Italy. Victory Medals named to 326781 Pte C. Freeman A& S.H. (1/8th) and 20202 Pte H. Williams Glouc R.
