Cased M1851 London Proofed Plated Navy Percussion Revolver
.36 cal, 7 1/2 inch, silvered plated, octagonal barrel. Front stud sight. Top flat marked "Address Saml Colt New York City". Lower plated loading rod. Six shot plated cylinder with naval battle scene "Colts Patent No 167" and London proof stamps. Plated body marked "Colts Patent". Plated spur hammer, trigger guard and grip frame. Polished wooden grip. Contained in its polished oak box. The lid with brass escutcheon. Internal green baize lining. Containing blued "Colts Patent" bullet mould ... Blued steel nipple key and screwdriver ... Copper and brass powder flask ... Two percussion cap tins. The lid with printed label "Directions For Loading Colts Pistols". Good clean example.
