An early 19th century Chinese carved hardwood campaign chest of two short over three long drawers, circa 1810, in two sections, each part set with flush lacquered brass side handles, the drawer fronts carved in relief with Oriental figures in watery and garden landscapes of bridges, mountains, temples, pagodas and boats, the knop handles similarly carved with prunus and plums, all within foliate vine borders, on turned bun feet, 100cm wide, 110cm high, 48cm deep
