A FIRST AND SECOND WORLD WAR GROUP OF THREE TO THE DURHAM LIGHT INFANTRY. A group of three comprising War Medal and Victory Medal named to 7929 Pte E.J. Newton Durh. L. I. and Second World War War Medal and a Durham Light Infantry Cap badge. Ernest John Newton served with the 1/9th Battalion and is also recorded with number 348033. He was wounded on the 12th October 1918 and entitled to a wound stripe. Mounted as worn. *CR Ribbons tatty, tarnish to surfaces. A lot fee of £8 inc. VAT will be charged on top of the hammer price and BP on all lots.
