A South African Railways cabside numberplate, 3470, from a 3ft 6ins gauge class 25 4-8-4 condensing locomotive built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 27330, in 1954. Most of the class had their condensing apparatus removed and were re-classified as Class 25NC but this locomotive retained its apparatus until the end. Cast brass, 20¾"x14½", the front repainted.
