Provenance:
- The collection of Mr. and Mrs. S., Ghent, Belgium.
- The smallest copper gunpowder horn was acquired in Marrakech,Morocco in July 1967, according to the owner's inventory notes.
- The largest copper gunpowder horn with silver decorations was acquired from the Dauphine flea market in Paris, France in April 1998, according to the owner's inventory notes.
- The round copper engraved gunpowder horn with silver decorations was acquired from the Saint-Christol flea market in France in June 1999, according to the owner's inventory notes.
- Thethree South Moroccan flintlock muskets havestocks in horn and bone, one asilver-inlaidbarrel and one a copper-inlaid barrel.Two were acquired in Marrakech and Fez, Morocco, in July 1967 and July 1968, one from the Sablon flea market, Brussels, Belgium in September 1999, according to the owner's inventory notes.
- Thepair of Moroccan percussion pistols are copper-inlaid with silver decorations and were acquired at the Barjac flea market, France, in August 1998, according to the owner's inventory notes.
