Pair of Chinese famille rose moon flasks, Qianlong revival, possibly Republic period with grotesque surmount handles decorated with birds of paradise to the centre, all-over foliage on yellow ground to the border, ruyi on turquoise ground to the base, 25cm high. (2)
Handles lacking to one vase and chips to rim.
Damages to handles to second vase also. Prominent staining and crazing, gilding faded with losses to polychrome decoration of both.
