Kings of Mauretania, Ptolemy (c. AD 20/1-40) AR Denarius, mint of Caesarea, dated RY 6 (c. AD 20/1 or 21/2), 2.33g. REX PTOLEMAEVS, diademed and draped bust of Ptolemy facing right. Rev. R A?I, palm tree with two bunches of dates. (Mazard 414; SNG Copenhagen -). Good Very Fine and with a strong portrait and pleasing cabinet tone. Some surface deposits to the reverse, with the potential to be removed. Very Rare, only two others on CoinArchives.
