Carol Peace (B.1970) - A contemporary bronze resin sculpture, depicting two figures embracing whilst sitting. Signed to the bottom of the sculpture by the artist. Measuring approx. 12cm x 19cm.
Carol Peace is a figurative sculptor, who studied at Winchester School of Art and later set up a studio in the Bristol Sculpture Shed, which would later become Spike Island. In 2004 she moved to her Paintworks studio. The sculptures are made in clay and are then cast into bronze, letting the fluid marks of the making be fixed. Her work is shown and collected all over the world and her larger-scale work is permanently on show at Glyndebourne and at Dorchester's Country House Hotel in Ascot.
