Our troops are near the capital, but little hope...of a successful termination") from Madras to Edinburgh (redirected to Ballantrae) having on the reverse "MADRAS /SHIP LETTER" ds but also a fine London "SHIP LETTER" (Tab.S35) struck in error across the join with a rare boxed London "INDIA" hs carefully struck just above.
