Two brass signal lever identification plates, (30,33) and three ivorine plates (5).
Provenance; the two brass plates came from Riccarton Junction box around 1970. Riccarton Junction was built for one sole purpose which was to support the NBR ambition to build a mainline through the middle of Scotland to meet up with the MR at Carlisle. Prior to this, the area was farmland and the junction took its name from the farm of the same name a few miles away, there was no road access.
