charge mark of Jean-Jaques Prévost (1762-1768), the opaque white ground with translucent green enamel framing, chased and enamelled borders of translucent and opalescent dots, the gently tapering body with a hinged cover, inscribed Souvenir and d'amitie, the front with an oval enamel plaque painted en plein with two nymphs and Amor at the altar of love, the back has an oval glazed aperture with intertwined initials on a textile ground. 10.2cm by 6.5cm, 149 grams
