A Victorian giltwood and gesso overmantel mirror,
with scroll and scallop shell crest and floral scrolled border,

Overall in fair to good condition, gilt work looks overpainted but still has an attractive tone, some rubbing down to the reddish toned colour beneath, otherwise a few minor small dents, chips and knocks commensurate with age, the plate looks original and has some varying markings to the silvering.
