An 18th century oak cased eight-day longcase clock by Edward Barlow, Oldham. The 31cm (12") square brass dial with a penny moon phase dial at 12 o'clock, with subsidiary 29 1/2 day niche, and further calendar niche, the oak case with stepped hood and the door flanked by quarter columns, height 233cm. Additional images of the clock and movement are now online. We have not seen the clock working, but it is complete with two weights, pendulum, and winding key. The finials may be replacements, otherwise, general wear and tear, with no evidence of major repair or alteration.
