A large late 19th century Japanese porcelain charger: hand-decorated in underglaze blue with blue rim, blossoming prunus, a basket of sprigs and branches, and a branch with ruyi head below. The underside naively decorated and with nine prominent stilt-marks within the raised circular foot. (47 cm in diameter)
