The Corniche was available as coupé or convertible, and used the standard Rolls-Royce V8 engine. A three-speed automatic transmission was standard. A four-wheel independent suspension with coil springs was augmented with a hydraulic self-levelling system using the same system as Citroën, but without pneumatic springs. Four wheel disc brakes were specified, with ventilated discs added for 1972.A total of 1090 Saloons, and 3239 Convertibles were produced.
The Corniche Convertible offered here is described by the vendor as being in fabulous condition all round, with only three previous keepers, and a joy to drive. The car comes with its original handbook and tool kit. The mileage shown is only 51,000 which is believed to be correct but is not warranted.
