Former Bristol Zoo Gardens - a collection of three large sandstone Ammonite fossils / carvings, as displayed outside Bug World at Bristol Zoo Gardens. Each featuring several fossils. These were displayed at the Zoo c1990s. Largest 97cm x 66cm. Provenance: originally donated to Bristol Zoo Gardens by construction workers working on The Downs. These were discovered during excavations and donated to the Zoo for display. Note: buyer to collect from the closed Bristol Zoo Gardens, by arrangement with us once full payment has been received. Each fossil is very heavy, but we estimate they can be carried by three or four persons, and a suitable trolley will be required to transport each one the short distance to a vehicle.
