A nameplate, GRENADIER GUARDSMAN, from a BR Class 45 diesel No D65 built by BR Crewe in April 1962, named in May 1964 and renumbered 45111 in August 1973. Allocated new to Derby, it was withdrawn from Tinsley in May 1987 and cut up by MC Processors, Glasgow in July 1992. The nameplate is still mounted on its original backplate with a replica regimental badge above and has been polished and repainted. Overall 54"x17½".(See also next Lot). (Postage Band: N/A)
