A William IV giltwood and gesso convex girandole, with ropetwist frame, ebonised slip and foliate scroll branches with bronze sconces, W.2ft 7in. H.2ft 2in.
CONDITION: Looks to have been overpainted in gold paint some years ago, now with a slightly flaking dull finish, both foliate scrolls to the top of the sides are a little worn and chipped and look to be lacking something from the top on each side, branches curl straight forwards, sconces slightly bent out of shape but otherwise good.
