MATCHED PAIR OF CHINESE BLUE & WHITE JARS - KANGXI. Kangxi period (1661-1722) and probably originally yenyen vases that have been cut down. A matched pair of blue and white jars, one painted with court figures and attendents and a landscape scene, the other painted with figures in conversation including one holding a cow. The rims ground down and now with wooden lids, 27cms high (excluding the wooden lids). (2).
One jar with a star crack to the base, rim ground down, small nick to the rim.
The other, rim ground down, otherwise seems fine.
